When did you first fall in love?
As Prince Charles (now King) once famously said what is love or words to that effect. I fancied a few people when I was young but was I in love with them, I doubt it. I certainly didn’t fall in love with Andrew when I first meet him in fact I did my best avoid him but once we started going out together I believe love eventually grew certainly on my part. That was fifty three years ago when we first met and unbelievably we are still together. I’m not sure that either of us said I love you at that time when we first started going out or since, and certainly whenever I’ve asked him if he loves me his answer has always been not at this moment in time no. Do I believe in love at first sight, no I think it’s more likely to be lust at first sight.
