Did you have a nickname at school?
I didn’t have a nickname at school, I don’t remember anyone in either of my schools having nicknames. But I do remember one of the boys in the village, a friend, couldn’t pronouce my name properly so called me Hever and because I was small they’d sometimes call me Little Hever.
My dad didn’t have a nickname for me but because I was small and the smallest one in the family he had some wonderful sayings for me. “Duck’s Disease”, “Too Short to Cut Cabbage”, and “Knee High to a Grasshopper”.
